My name is Roger Hart and I am a Lecturer in Online Journalism and the instructor for the j436 Multimedia Publication Design course for the Spring 2009 semester. I will be the moderator of this blog. The j436 blog is for the Multimedia Publication Design class in the School of Journalism at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. We are using this blog to post about the multimedia projects in progress for the class and also to post interesting items about New Media Journalism and Environmental Issues. The focus of the class is to produce stories using new media to tell human interest stories concerned with environmental issues. A class website will be created to share the stories and solicit stories from other SIUC classes and beyond.
